No they weren't. I think Mark may have had a sponsorship with them, but I'm not 100%. I know he loved their glasses, then an Oakley sticker appeared one year on his wing.
At the Nat's in Dallas, he gave me a couple of stickers, so I ended up putting one on my wing.
I still remember the kids face, but I gave the other one, and a set of my rear tires, to a kid who came up and asked me to sign his hat. So I only had the one when I left Texas.

I know that Lett had them listed in a few race results as a sponsor. Bu then again, you were not cool unless you had a pair of Oakley Blades, or even better yet- Razor Blades with the Iridium lenses

i have one of these motors. whats the deal with these motors? I got a rc10ds a few weeks ago and it had one of those motors in it and it had a label that said mr. y's. i put it in my rc10 and that thing is stupid fast.

Hey Ruffy where did they put the sticker on your '93 Worlds car? Most were by the servo but didn't see yours. Did your chassis get bent up like the others by Cliff or Curtis?

Ok cool thread, brings back memories. Ive found my team associated shirt with all worlds winning buggies on the back and still looks good.

Do you happen to have the truck chassi and top deck on page 6 and if by chance buggy like masami had as im after a scanned to scale image of those items so i can get the same design made for my B2 which is now fitted with a b4 layshaft and a 6.5.

Also do you have a set up sheet for your zxr for the basildon worlds, i lost my sheet for the warm ups.

It has been awhile since I have been here, but hey Steve, yes my sticker was somewhere near the servo I remember and yes the chassis was bent up by Cliff.
I still have the chassis with the IFMAR marking, and will take a photo one of these days... especially of the underside! For those that were there or heard of it, no what they will be expecting to see!
