Inline steering block
Inline steering block
I've ordered and recieved my inline steering block and the alu inline but it doesn't seems to fit well. The hole on the steering block are too narrow for the axles and alittle short for the king pin to go through. Any advise experts?

The major problem is that the alu axles is longer than the steering block as such, the king pin hole is not aligned. The bottom of the alu axles where the mini screws are screwed in hit the botton of the blocks but yet the hole for the king pin for both parts is not in line. Best of all, i've also ordered the FT Blue alu lock nuts but it does not fit the inline axles...

The nuts for the alloy axles are 5-40. Same as the transmission topshaft if you want metal or the typical black plastic 4-40/5-40 nuts...Brat wrote:Yeah 1 more thing. Anyone can advise me on the nut size for the inline axles?

Re: Inline steering block
TowerHobbies for example do still have a bunch of parts for the original RC10, but only black parts... The white nylon ones are to be found on Ebay at a price usually, but there are still some good deals from time to time. The best solution could be to ask in the BST section here and I'm pretty sure someone can help you out. If you don't need new ones, I have tons of them used/useable1lowtaco95 wrote:wher can i get these steering blocks? just got my gold tub rc10 out of storage and let my wife drive it and she drove it right into the garagedoor!!

Re: Inline steering block
I'll try to take a picture of the few I have and will let you decide the ones you want, then I'll shoot you a price for them. If I haven't done it by next Monday, please remind me. I'm quite busy these days
