Inline steering block

I've ordered and recieved my inline steering block and the alu inline but it doesn't seems to fit well. The hole on the steering block are too narrow for the axles and alittle short for the king pin to go through. Any advise experts?

Yeah 1 more thing. Anyone can advise me on the nut size for the inline axles?

sometimes its just the molding is a little sloppy (for lack of a better word). You just need to clean it out with xacto. I think every block I got was like that.

The major problem is that the alu axles is longer than the steering block as such, the king pin hole is not aligned. The bottom of the alu axles where the mini screws are screwed in hit the botton of the blocks but yet the hole for the king pin for both parts is not in line. Best of all, i've also ordered the FT Blue alu lock nuts but it does not fit the inline axles...

Ya, typically when they're molded there is some flashing down in what you call the "bottom" of the hole. you have to get in there and clear that out so the axle can get in farther. If you have a small dremel grinding bit you can prob get in there a little easier.

The nuts for the alloy axles are 5-40. Same as the transmission topshaft if you want metal or the typical black plastic 4-40/5-40 nuts...

Oh thanks alot!Think i'll just grind the bottom hole on the blocks with a hand drill. 5/40 lock nuts comes in blue alu? Think I gonna spend $ on another order again...5/40 nuts not available in Singapore..

TowerHobbies for example do still have a bunch of parts for the original RC10, but only black parts... The white nylon ones are to be found on Ebay at a price usually, but there are still some good deals from time to time. The best solution could be to ask in the BST section here and I'm pretty sure someone can help you out. If you don't need new ones, I have tons of them used/useable

ya i would much rather have the white one, just to keep orginal looking the black ones would bother me. how much do you want for the useable/used ones you have??
