Kyosho Scorpion/Sidewinder questions

Ok, got a couple of questions, I have a Kyosho Sidewinder that is missing enough of the Sidewinder specific parts that I am thinking about rebuilding it as a Scorpion. I think I have figured out most of the parts that I need to acquire to accomplish this but have a couple of questions. I need to purchase a set of wheels since the Sidewinder wheels are different. Does anyone here know if the front axles/steering knuckles are different on the Sidewinder? Would seem that the axles may be a little longer. Also what is needed to put later style Kyosho wheels such as Ultima wheels on the Sidewinder/Scorpion. Do I just need Ultima rear wheel shafts and the hexes to go with?

Hi Jason and welcome to RC10Talk!
It will not be a problem to fit Scorpion parts to your Sidewinder, they are the same!
To fit Ultima front wheels on your Sidewinder want be a problem! Or any other front wheel with the bearings in the wheel. To the rear wheels you need a 12mm hex adapter that you can find Tower Hobbies, which you mount outside the existing one. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXUFH6&P=0!
