To cut or not to cut.
Ok, Dan over at DODC sent this to me. He saw my vintage dirt modified body I was making. He suggested a solution for my hood. So sent this to chop it up. Do you think I should chop up a perfectly good body just for an EDM nose?

I would just get an edm hood. Easy for me to say though since Kippshobbies.com is my local hobby shop

Re: To cut or not to cut.
I actually just picked up the lexan and screws from Kipp. I'm making an old body after this car. I've not built an RC body in at least 18-20 years.

HI!... The body in the 1ST pic is a AE "SPRINTER #1" body. They are extremely rare. Don't butcher it.

Dang it, seriously? Well I'm gonna throw everything in a box. I'll allow myself a week or so during this move to think about it. Friday I move from GA back home to NY. I'll deal with it then.

Re: To cut or not to cut.
I agree. The only reason why they are "rare" on places like ebay is cause they don't fetch any $$$. I only one I had sold for a whopping $14.
I say cut it and use it to make the whole look better.
McAllister still has sprinter bodies available too.

Re: To cut or not to cut.
Alrighty...I'll consider the last two posts. The body is nice, but really hate the headers. As far as the nose, it's kind of close as to what I'm looking for. But will look so much better than the one I made with all the bolts. lol.

HI!... It's yours do with it as you like. The last two I saw on Ebay went for over $150. I have one mint still in the original bag. If I use it, it will be used as intended. AE still sells the top wing kit and MRLEXAN sells the small front spoiler.
