New Skinny Wheel option, RC10T

Post by atarit3 »

Hello Everyone!

I've been browsing the forum (and ebay) and one thing I'm coming across alot are people who either want or are showing off thier skinny wheels and 3 peice rims that came with the original RC10T kits.

well before I sold my T4 I was looking at J Concepts option to turn my T4 into a bastardized 1/8th scale 2WD buggy:

http://www.jconcepts.net/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=286

Kit #4002

The front wheels on the T4 are the same exact diameter as the axles that have been on every RC10 or 10T kit ever made, the 3/16" front axles.

They come in both yello and white according the text. This seems like a great idea for anyone who wants to keep their OG skinny wheels like new, but wants one of these trucks to take to the track.

Looks like they also sell these wheels & tires seperate on thier website:
http://www.jconcepts.net/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4_55&products_id=230
http://www.jconcepts.net/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_35&products_id=229

Also, keep in mind, this looks like something that will end up being discontinued soon, I don't think there's a big enough market for people wanting to convert their ill-handling T4 into an ill-handling 1/8th scale :)

Hopes this helps anyone out with an unfinished shelf queen or a dirty ol' race-worthy RC10T in need of some rubber :)
