Name that chassis
Picked this up on ebay. Full running car, battery, controller, charger. The works. I always wanted an A&L trailing arm car. But the chassis has me confused. Looks like a wide front end. Which chassis is this? I was thinking about making this into a buggy but if its supposed to be a truck chassis, I might restore it as a truck.

Looks like a Composite Craft chassis, with Parma front tower and the A&L rear trailing arm conversion- I'll name it Jason

Whats the deal with the wide front end? Ive never ran a car with one. What are the advantages of it and are you supposed to set them up with long a-arms or short arms? I'd like to make it into a buggy.

Re: Name that chassis
Hot trick wide front nose and tower. It can be either a buggy or truck since doesnt matter now that it has the three holes for mounting either nose plate on it.DON
Re: Name that chassis
I saw that first picture and couldn't figure out what had been done to the front of it... second picture alerted me to the fact that I was looking at shelf brace.
How about Shaniqua Frederick ??

Re: Name that chassis
Looks like a one piece wide nose chassis. I think those holes he drilled for mounting the bumper. And the mysterious 3rd screw underneath looks like its for the body post. So Composite craft made a wide nose graphite chassis? Whats so cool about the wide nose fronts ends? I'm kind of wishing it wasn't.

ya, they made the front shock tower too.
there's nothing cool about it. especially when someone uses wide arms on a wide front kickup.greene-r74 wrote:Whats so cool about the wide nose fronts ends? I'm kind of wishing it wasn't.
