Re: question on RPM warranty policy
I would rather them simply say we dont have any more. Istead of bend over and we will rape you for what we have deemed is a rare part. I see it as they are willing to sell off any posiable future orders from you over $20.
If they would have told you the " I am sorry but we dont support that product anymore therfore we dont have it in stock " the story would be over , I am sure now your thoughts of RPM are slighlty different.

Re: question on RPM warranty policy
Exactly. I have experience in the injection molding business. I can understand why the colors are being limited. My wifes uncle has/had an injection molding company for many years, and one of the reasons he closed doors recently is sourcing small quantities of product from plastic suppliers. He said that his minimum orders of specific colors became too much (2500 lbs of raw material -or something outrageous) and he could no longer do small quantities of product for his customers. So it relly makes sense to keep the # of colors available to a minimum. -Jeff

When I talked to them a couple of years ago, they had hundreds of these that left over from when they were in production. I'd guess they are just selling off what they have left, so if anyone wants one...scr8p wrote:my jaw dropped when i found out the came back out with the rc10 "shorty" front bumper. but of course, molded in black.

X 2 on this- I would guess that is the deal with Composite Craft now as well, some of the manufactures that didn't need to toss the NOS didn't- it's like Carrol Shelby finding those 75 missing 1965 AC Cobra org frames back in the late 90'saeiou wrote:When I talked to them a couple of years ago, they had hundreds of these that left over from when they were in production.
