i started laying out the electronics the other day. then i found out that my soldering iron no longer feels like working, so i now i gotta go get another one of those. i can use my dad's, i got to remember to bring it home with me. but it's just always something.........

reggie is hooking me up with the rcps turnbuckle for the steering, and i have the two new white ball cups. i just needed to put something on it temporarily to get the servo positioned where i needed it. i also have to get a new dark gray kimbrough servo saver for ko. i have a bunch, but they're all used.

it's getting there......

not yet. the body for this car is relatively tame compared to some of his other stuff, so it shouldn't be too bad.

little update.....

i'm on facebook, but don't spend much time on it at all. i don't remember why i even started an account. all i ever do is approve the occasional friend request, that's it. but anyway, i got the idea to send masami a friend request in hopes of getting better pics of this car. i really didn't want to bug him about it, but he got right back to me and told me he'd snap some pics when he had time. couple days later, he sent me pics of his W.C. 1/12 from '88. :) i probably wasn't real clear in exactly what i was looking for, but appreciated those pics none the less. so, i replied back stating i was looking for the buggy from the same year (and same ko propo ad). next day, he sent pics of this buggy. they were in my spam box since wednesday and didn't see them until last night. it's not the exact car i was looking for, but i also don't want to keep bugging him about it. i'm sure he's a busy guy.

That's pretty cool of him. I'm surprised to see a motor connector (maybe it's just me). I have a Facebook account too. Created it about 2 yrs ago, was on for a few minutes and haven't logged in since. For some reason the emails from people I really wasn't even friends with in High School creeped me out. This is a prime example of how handy it could be though. I don't blame you for not bugging him. Whenever you talk to someone like that you can never be sure if they're enjoying it or just being nice. Cool pics though. 8)
