Silver and gold labels were later models, and had wet magnets, I believe. ALmost all early stock and mod Twisters were red label Yok motors. Many of them also had the wind etched into the can somewhere, too, though I have a couple that don't. Mike Walker made some fantastic horsepower back in the day. I'd say, after Checkpoint, the Twister and Revtech lines were two of the fastest brands out there, consistently.

thanks. i looked at the motors again, and the red one has a 1W etched in it. i'm guessing that means a single wind. the chome one has a 2 etched in it. so i guess that would mean a double? they don't say anything about what turn they are, though.
