Everything available for the RC10

Post by rcguy5 »

Hey Guys,

For all that know, what is still produced today (original and aftermarket) even what guys on this sight are producing for the RC10 up until but not including the B2.

Maybe a sticky could be made with links that guys could add to as they are discovered. The list could be anything related to the RC10 pre B2.

I don't know if a list like this exists, I could not find it.

What do you think?

Mike

it's not so much a "what do they still produce" as much as a "what's still available".

go on tower hobbies. if it's not on there, more or less, it's not available anymore.

I've seen that thread but it's not what I am looking for. There are a lot of info. links but not too many original and aftermarket parts which I think are still available. Much of the tower links and a few others are no good anymore but there is still a lot of stuff tower has but hard to find.

There are also other names that I am not sure about such as RPM, Klein, Factory Works (A&L) and some carbon parts still produced by whomever which I don't know about.

There are many guys on this forum that know of what is available and just wondering if they could share that.

Thanks,

Mike

please don't take this the wrong way, but there's nothing different that i'd do looking for that kind of information that you couldn't do yourself. i, as well as others, just don't have that kind of time.

go on rpm's website. they have arms and shorty bumpers. the klein arms that dynotech now makes after klein went under just happen to be the same as the rpm worlds arms. but they're not necessarily designed for an rc10 buggy. you have to make the buggy accept those arms. so in my eyes, they're not an aftermarket hop-up "for" the rc10. as for factory works, you'd have to call darryl and see what he has left because nothing is on his website.

atlas, a member here, produces some carbon parts that are easily found on ebay when he has them in stock. or, just send him a pm on here.

then of course there's always http://www.fibre-lyte.com for more carbon stuff.

Thanks for the info. guys. I mainly just wanted to fill the spaces. I don't know of everything that is out there and searching on google or here sometimes doesn't cover everything.

Your best bet is to spend time on this site, read a lot, do some searches and it will start to gel for you. The guys on here who really come closest to knowing still couldn't sit and type out an entire list without allocating a ton of their time, but they generally know what works and with this (available) parts.

I was surprised to find many old RC10 parts on Amazon.com, that's worth checking out.

Remember, the Team Cobra Nemesis used a few of the same parts as the RC10.

I bought a stash of NIP rear arms mounts that are nothing more than re-packaged AE parts.

There are many other choices out there other than Tower and the other big name companies. I've bought all my RC10/T parts from other online shops.

Most google searches lead here and then it's hard to find once you get here! Most searches yield roughly 22 pages. Ya gotta love it!
