Looking sweet!
Where did you get those front axles from? Did I send you a set or are those some you bought?

Re: PROJECT RC10evo Old-New
This has to be one of the whitest RC10s I have ever seen and it has no white parts at all.
The front axles are B4 blue axles I had re-anodized, same with the rear spacers.

Re: PROJECT RC10evo Old-New
I hate when this happens, I am opening new shock bodies I got for this project and I end up with one front 1.02 body with the lighter green color.
I am going to move forward like this because I plan on eventually running this car, if it was a shelf car this would not be acceptable.

Mig, since they still have that "ashy" crap on the shock bodies, can you put some olive oil on one for a before and after?

Re: PROJECT RC10evo Old-New
This is how she stands today. This car feels really good and it is looking great, I can't wait to take it to the track.
I am waiting for some parts and work on the body, I am thinking Mirage SS.
I need to get longer Turnbuckles, 2 fronts and specially the 2 rear. I have some to long and some to short if anyone has some to exchange and need longer PM me know to give you the length I need and the ones I have.

Re: PROJECT RC10evo Old-New
Very nice. I like the way the gold anodized aluminum bits stand out on the car. I know this car has been a long time in the making and I am sure the car will perform great at the track.
I will keep you updated on the turn buckles.
Great job Miguel.

Re: PROJECT RC10evo Old-New
Better get some chassis braces on that monster, I nosed into the triple at my track and bowed the chassis pretty hard with the sides cut the same-

Re: PROJECT RC10evo Old-New
Yep... this car was in my head for a loooong time and finally it's almost done.
Thanks, I am also going to use some JC white ball ends, I think it will be cool.
Reg I don't think you are suppose to go nose diving on any jump.
I will probable install some of these then.

Re: PROJECT RC10evo Old-New
Miguel I agree with Reggie. When I built my car, the tub was very flexible without the braces. I originally was going to run without them but then realized I would need them.
Those braces should look awesome on the car.
