Ok this is where I'm at with my A&L car, as you can see I've fitted my MIP trans and graphite nose plate. I still need to do a chop job on the bulkhead and a black motor plate I've got lying around, I need to place an order for bearings for quite a few of my cars, first I'm going to have to trawl through some threads to find the sizes I need . I'm going to dye the white parts black with exception of the spanky new wheels, anyone got any ideas what shells would be period correct I'm guessing Protech 2s

That's correct Tadracket, it was a hefty price but I just knew it would work well with this chassis and now that the Fybre-Lite ones look doubtful there wasn't much choice.

Wow! Real nice, Ferretti. The nose plate works real well with that car. Dying the white parts will make it look better (except for the wheels, of course). I think the Protech II would be the correct period shell. I'm just about finished with mine, just need tires and a motor plate. I'll post pics when I'm done.
I think everyone who has bought one of these (I think that's most of us ) will testify to how nice an engineered conversion kit this is, you will not be disappointed.

Thanks for the bearing info chaps, sorry because I know I have asked this before I must remember to start making note of info I will need rather than having to go through old posts all the time.

Do you mean the ones on the rear bulkhead I still have a few jobs to do on it I will remove them when I chop it up incidentally what’s the best method for getting a nice clean cut on the bulkhead I know sometimes this stuff goes fury when you cut it
