Trinity D&D composite chassis for ultima?great item!!
something I found be my collections that I thought it is Trinity D&D composite chassis for kyosho ultima,previous owner made a special chassis side plate to increase the strength. very beautiful modified!I am not kyosho guy but I love this car so much.the car including a special shock towers one materials look like the chassis I think also Trinity made.and another looks like hard carbon I used on my ultima pro xl. the the car needs restore and I will show some parts first.sorry for my english and hope everybody enjoy it!!

It looks to me that aluminum side plates are a little over kill and a bit heavy? I raced that Trinity chassis back in the old days, and I thought it was wary stiff! If you want it stiffer, I will suggest a radio tray instead.

What happend to the bottom of the chassis, did you have to slot the screws on the bottom to extract them?

That’s what happens when you push the drill bit too hard when going thug the chassis. The carbon fiber splits ...

yes, when drilling the hole may be hurt the chassis,but no problem because the chassis so thick enough。some more pics。

a very special wheels and tires,rims are tamiya wild one use but notice that have a special collar inside 5x11 bearing so directely fit for the ultima series car。tires are tamiya super gripper,very cool and I love them so much。another choice I can put yokomo made adapters for kyosho utlima and can use yokomo super rare white aero rims。 but I will not use on the car,just used kyosho rims and tires。

One thing I didn't like about the ultima was the front bulkhead mounting holes material was too thin has a tendency to strip or crack I noticed you used some self locking nuts. I added 3 mm G10 base to strenghting it due to unable to find a replacement.
