Here I am again with another technical question. My problem is, I'm always trying to do things differently, and that means custom-fit applications always require research, and when that fails, help.
Anyway, I'm looking at using a set of beadlock wheels for my second Turbo Optima build. This is close to what I'm planning to use:
http://www.integy.com/st_prod.html?p_prodid=7285&p_catid=107
The wheels are 2.2" so should be the same diameters as the stock T.O. wheels. The ones I'm getting are advertised as "narrow", so I'm hoping they'll be significantly less deep than monster-truck wheels, i.e. shallow enough to mount 2.2" tires like the stock Turbo Optima ones.
My question is, is it even possible to mount non-monster-truck tires on these beadlock-style rims, if they're at least narrow enough?

I think they are ment for short course trucks like the slash. And I do know that short course rims are like almost half the width of regulat 2.2 truck rims. I've run slash wheels and tires on my optima mid and the rims clear everything ok.

Thanks for your reply. I'd buy them if only I could get an answer on how wide a specific set of "narrow" wheels are. The eBay seller hasn't answered a single question over the past 48 hours, and it's over 24 hours for a tech support reply from the manufacturer.
