All that link did was remind us about those pink panties
I bet it would have saved you some coin if you could have got the gold hardware on that build from them. You got the gold hardware anodized for that one, right?
Either way, this will be another great build to add to your fleet.

The rpm rear bulkhead holes are not supposed to line up, that's why they included the nail to mark the new holes. I'm sure you fingered that one out already. Great looking Build BTW

Re: the modernized rpm ultramolded truck project
Great looking truck, I have one that my wife raced a few times back in the day. It was died red originally, but after all these years it's now a funky shade of pink
. I'll have to see about getting some pics up.

ran into a bit of a problem with the rear drive system....
the goal is to use gt2 cva's with the posi lock quick change
here are the issues i ran into.
i wanted to use the rpm hubs originally but,
- rpm hubs put the drive pin 2mm too far into the outdrive, and they bind at full compression..
so i tried a set of t4 hubs but,
-t4 hubs put the drive pin right on the edge of the outdrive.
this was solved by using t4 cva bones.. go figure.. they are 3mm longer... THANK YOU Reggie aka "charlie dont surf" for brainstorming with me
compressed

ride hight

full droop.. no shock limiters

There's something I'm not understanding...here's the guy (lowry) who invented the "hand lathe" technique, and he could have easily used said technique to "thin-out" the end of the cva bones for clearance...
