Found in my basement

Post by missindavey »

I have been into rc cars in the past. I have a gold tub rc10 and a graphite I put on later. I have been out of playing with these for about 15 years. I was in the basement looking at what I had and I have an unfinished rc10t. So I went to the local hobby shop and they told me the truck is obsloite and would cost me more getting it running. He also said I would make more money selling it in parts. So I am trying to figure out what to do. I was looking at the new motors, batteries, speed controls and cant figure this stuff out since I have been out so long and need help on what to do. Think about it everything I have is old. Just some thoughts have more but I will wait till I get some feedback. Thanks

If it were me, I'd get the parts to finish the 10T and shelve it.

Cool stuff! Finish building the NEW RC10T and DON'T run it! Run your other cars! Your old electronics should work just fine but I'm sure you will need new batteries. Switch to lipo's if you can! You will need a different charger to do that! Later get any 10.5 or 13.5 brushless system. That will replace your current motor and esc! 10.5's are nice!

If you must run a 10T, you can pick up used ones very cheep!

I was thinking maybe I would sell the T and buy something else I could play with. Not sure what it is worth but maybe enough to buy something else new. I started puting on the shocks and finishing it when I get done hopfully this weekend I will post some new pics.
