I've never seen a resto project of a RC10CE with the driver figurine. I remember way back when I got the RC10CE Graphite kit, there was a polycarbonate (like the body) driver figurine. I remember this because I didn't think much of it at the time, so I gave it away to a friend of mine who wanted it...
Anyone do a resto project with the driver figurine intact? I love vintage buggies because they actually looked like buggies and not space vehicles...

Re: RC10 Driver Polycarb figurine?
I just found an image, I believe it was this:

Even though the RC10CE kit came with the Viper body, it came with this driver in the kit...
I bought a brand new in package Viper body from AE for my RC10CE resto project, but sadly, this figurine wasn't part of that package...

That little guy came in most of the RC10 kits. There are some slightly different molds of them, I know of two types. Not sure if there are others, I never really got into them very much. They never came with the bodies, you had to buy them separately.
This is a picture of the only one I ever painted in my life! I painted everything but the helmet on the outside with flat colours, and then painted the helmet on the inside so it stayed glossy.
