Good things come to those who wait.
Good things come to those who wait.
I got the remnants of an old RC10T Team truck a couple of months ago. I started collecting parts for it and lost interest. Long story short I was supposed to get some old RC cars parts from a buddy of mine. He forgot what friend he was supposed to give them to and gave them to another buddy. I just figured out if it was meant to be it would of worked out. A month or so later I call my buddy he gave the parts to and he offers them to me. Well today he stopped by and dropped them off. What do you think? I'm glad I waited!!! It's late so I didn't dig through all of the parts yet.

Some more...
The bad...
It looks like a quick fix. I'm pretty sure I bought some NOS parts or good used from the other one that I can use to put it together.

I don't think it's worth keeping with that rear a-arm mount missing. You should pass it on to me!
Seriously though, very nice score! Can't wait to see it all cleaned up!!

LOL, no it was giving to me by a friend. So it's a keeper!!! Thanks guys, I was like a kid in a candy store waiting for him to drop them off!!! I'm going to dig around in the boxes tonight and see what else I can find. I did see what looked like the original dirt wheels and tires in the other box. I was surprised to find the universal dogdones under a broken front A arm. It looks like it has a RPM front A arms and MIP CVDs in it. I also like the transponder mount on the servo. And a big thanks to treehugger for hooking me up with some parts to get it together.cyclepsych0 wrote:I don't think it's worth keeping with that rear a-arm mount missing. You should pass it on to me!
The other box contained a Tamiya Bullhead pretty much in the same condition and damage (rear wheel ripped off ) I haven't look to close at it. But it has dual steering servos in it and a Novak 610 (I think) ESC.

A Rooster with a Greenie 2 out back and foams, would make a nice carpet oval runner...

Re: Good things come to those who wait.
That's all it did in it's life. It was a carpet racer. But I don't think it's racing career was very long. It's funny, the first thing I did was pull the foams off and put the dirt tires back on. I don't even know if they have been used. I was scrubbing them and noticed that none of them were glued. I was going to pull the Rooster out and use it in another car. But I think it looks just fine were it is. Paul hooked me up with a A arm mount. Next on the list is pullng bent shock off on swing if it is salvagable. While it's apart I'm thinking about putting the universials back into it. The CVDs will find a home in my other T.mrhemi1971 wrote:A Rooster with a Greenie 2 out back and foams, would make a nice carpet oval runner...
