i think the bottom yokomo chassis is just a chassis protector, its too thin to be a rigid chassis... i don't know though... here is the other side of it

The way the complete chassis is designed takes up the structure. The originals were actually ABS plastic, more flimzy than your FRP piece shown....... PM sent.
