It's easier to spell, so the Canadians put it together right.

Sure! Pick on the Canadians! :|

If I were you Halgar, I would not talk about spelling. By the way, getting your 12th grade is not by doing 6th grade twice! :P

You know I was studying these photos of the 442 and just going over every detail. I had to zoom in to get a really good look at the clean crisp lines when I found something you guys need to know. I think Jason has a secret obsession he is hiding from us but I am here to expose him.

Here is the the original, clean looking car I say.

Now look at the front of the car when you zoom in  . Jason you can try to explain yourself at any time. I doubt anything you say won't work, this is hard evidence in front of us.

Halgar,

After Scr8p attacked your awesome craftsmanship on the wood grain car, I felt obligated to show this to you.

You like how he ragged me about that? Heck, I didn't even charge him for that custom hood scoop either. There just no making some folks happy I guess.

Thanks for watching my back Jake. 8)

uh oh, halgar got a sidekick.

to be honest, that's not the first time that car had a different emblem on the grill. the owner of that car hates chevys, with a passion. he's a diehard olds man. so we had a little fun with him when we were putting the front end together. the reproduction 442 emblem was bent. we tried to straighten it so that we wouldn't have to wait for another one to show up. well, it cracked, so we had to wait for another one anyway. but since we couldn't put it on, i dug up an old SS grill emblem from a 71 el camino we did quite a few years ago, and put it on. when he came over the next day, that got him going.

So how is THAT possible? Same car off the same line built with the same parts, just different signage attached as it was shoved out the door ... :? Now, if it were a GMC instead of a Chevy I could completely understand!

Why did Chevy and GMC produce the same vehicles? What was the point of that? Such as the S10/S15 and the Astro/Safari for example. I read the reason at one time but can't recall the answer.
