Jay did you buy that Perp new? If so... what happened, you didn't like my paint splatter schemes (I did the bike graphics for Cdale in 09 and 10). I know Melvin has a few bikes I'd love to see pics of. As for me I have my Redline Proline and I'm building a Powerlite P17.

No, not new, but it might as well been. I got it from a Semi-Pro who is sponsored by Cannondale Bear Naked. He is also the sales rep for Oregon and Washington state. It was a good price for what it was and I couldn't turn it down. The Cruz is the same, almost new and heck of a price for the bike. I can't turn it down.

Leaving for my last ditch vacation before my move in a couple weeks (this was planned long before the move and I wasn't gonna cancel). I'd post some pics when I get a chance.

Re: One of those things I've always wanted to do
Got back into town last night. Overall, the trip was great. If anyone on the east coast needs to get some DHing out of their system, I'd definitely recommend Snowshoe.
We only had on problem, well two, but mine is minor compared to my wife's. I had a pedal slap me in the shin, it was a gusher for sure. But my wife..... OUCH, he crashed hard into the ground, cracked a rib and AC separation in her shoulder. We'll find out today if she needs surgery. She never cried and has been going somewhat normal since Thurs, when this happened. We did visit a ER on Fri, but there wasn't much they could do.
I'll post some pics later these evening after we get home from the Dr.

Re: One of those things I've always wanted to do
My girlfriend did the same thing about 4 weeks ago. We were on our nightly ride and she'd been crossing railroad tracks too parallel all evening. Crossing the last set I was just about to tell her to get more perpendicular when, you guessed it, front tire drops into the rut between the rail and asphalt and down she went. Popped her gourd on the ground pretty good and banged up her right arm. Luckily, no concussion (no helmet either ), no breaks, and for the most part no blood, which was pretty amazing considering the welt over her eye where she hit and a small laceration in the eye lid from her sunglasses. She had a black eye for a couple weeks and bruises around her chin. All that stuff has healed up now, though she's still got stiffness and soreness in her right wrist, arm, and shoulder.mrlexan wrote:But my wife..... OUCH, he crashed

I need to take a picture of my wife's shoulder..... went to an ortho consult tonight and have to go to another in the morning. Looks like she needs to have surgery. Fun, fun, fun!

Re: One of those things I've always wanted to do
She cracked a rib and has a left AC shoulder joint separation. She went down hard over a table top. She was carrying a lot of speed, bike got light, feet slipped off the pedals, came down the table top and ate it pretty hard on her left side.
Late? That went over my head... don't know what you mean?

you need to tell her there are other safer, less painful ways to go about getting out of moving boxes.
