Where do you purchase your RC Batteries? (online store)
Looking for what online store people most use to purchase their RC Batteries.
Any opinions/stories you could tell from your purchases would also be great.
Thanks in advance!

Not sure it matters a whole lot, RC planet, amainhobbies or Tower hobbies. Are good starting points. IMO

Maybe someone has a better option.....

I've always used tower, though not being a racer I'm not picky about the batteries.

Try to support your LHS (local hobby store/shop)!
I know most times the prices at a LHS are a bit higher, but you can walk in and get it right then and there, and you get the service if there is a problem! Plus, you are supporting your local economy!
I know the store I work for (PM Hobby Craft) matches or gets as close to A-main or Towers price as possible (after exchange rate). It's tough to compete against the big mail order houses as they buy from the manufactures as a distributor. The price they get is much better than the hobby stores get from the distributor! Some times the same mail order house is the distributor. ie: Great Planes (distributor) is Tower Hobbies (mail order)
! These guys make some serious profit!
The irony is that the mail order house has much less overhead "per staff" than a hobby shop! Not only that but they never have to deal with the angry customer in your face!
That burns me the most!!

Re: Where do you purchase your RC Batteries? (online store)
while i agree everyone should support the lhs, i sure do, i do not buy batteries from them.
after running name brand batteries and lipos from hong kong i know buy all my batteries from hong kong.
i can't find any reason to pay a premium for name brand batteries that were made in china anyway and perform the same.
hobbyking.com or ebay with free shipping, i usually wait for a deal to pop up on the bay.
i do buy 95% of everything else (except vintage parts) from my lhs.
