Losi Gift

Post by CobraKen »

Met up with an racer mate a few weeks ago, talking of old times, back in the day etc. etc.
Anyway he thought that his cars were still around and would let me know.
Phone call a couple of days later, yes he still had them and I was welcome to pick
them up :D , following weekend I went to collect them, we discussed money and he wouldn,t
take any :D :D
I have since ran the Pro after the once over and its great, definitely on a par
with the worlds rc10
Rear shocks on the truck are schumacher so I,ll have to locate the correct ones

Yes he is a real nice guy, I raced against\with him for many years and once I told him
about me collecting vintage cars he was quite happy for me to have these two Losi,s and
as said it was hard but not that hard 8)

I have used the Pro both with a modified brushed motor and the silvercan
you can see in the photo.
The vintage class takes place at Hinckley on a Sat.
I,m not sure on the cut off year for the class but only silvercans
allowed, last time I raced,there were;
schumacher cougar, tamiya frog, hornet, hotshot, wild willeyx2
rc10 and me with the losi

Ah ha - small world.... I keep meaning to pop over & have a race on a Sat afternoon at the Hinkley Club - I sometimes do the Touring Cars inside during the winter months but not yet experienced their off road track.

I'd be racing my RC10 - but I think I'd probably run against the other mod cars.... as its currently all set-up running a 6.5BL.... so hopefully i'd get to say hello & see your Pro running 8)
