Curious about STEALTH
Several years ago I believe I read a public statement in a magazine that AE would no longer use the word stealth to describe their products. In fact an attempt was made by Leo Stoller to secure the term as a trademark exclusive to his company. He was unsuccessful in court but from my limited research it appears that a campaign of intimidation was launched against many users of the term. Has in fact AE dropped the use? Much reading is available on line but here is a link to an article about the gentleman.

Re: Curious about STEALTH
I don't think Associated has used the term Stealth since the B2/T2 series. Would be an interesting question for the "ask Gene" thread.

No, that thread is for questions about toy cars. I just wondered.aeiou wrote: Would be an interesting question for the "ask Gene" thread.

Re: Curious about STEALTH
That appears to be a term used only by distributors and not by AE itself.Bimdapogs wrote:What about the B4 Stealth.

Re: Curious about STEALTH
If you wanted to know if Associated stopped calling their transmissions "Stealth" because of that dude’s campaign – or for whatever reason - then I'd say it’s a valid question for that thread.arf wrote:No, that thread is for questions about toy cars. I noticed that guy also claims to own the word "hoax".

I'm gonna rename all my kids "STEALTH"
And have them wear STEALTH clothe and eat STEALTH food
Oh and my licence plate

That plate would look good on a Dodge Stealth.
