Looks good with some nice patina! Only thing I see incorrect is it has the wrong turnbuckles on it. It would of had just straight 4-40 threaded rod for the tierods. Something you might want to change if you want it period correct. You can usually find it in any hobby shop. If you do change them out be sure not to damage the ball cups, READ(no plier marks!). Those little suckers are worth a mint when you can find them.
I take that back! it has the wrong front arms on it too! Should have the short arms. Did you ever look if there is a stamp under where the tranny goes?

i must have crashed it and broke it as a kid so my dad probably replaced those and that was all he could get maybe...thank for the info...i have my speed contol pics im abut to post see what u think... i tinkerd w it and ran it today but same result jus goes when i pull reverse...

Upon further review its got some wrong steering gear too. Its almost like it had a complete later model front end bolted to the older chassis. Except it has the correct shock tower

Flip the "servo reverse" switch on your radio for the throttle servo. See if that helps.
You got an early RC10 there with some more current items like the front arms, and other parts.

yes when i flip the servo switch it doesnt wrk at all

Make sure you push the switch all the way over. If it is somewhere in between, sometimes they just don't work.
What radio are you using?
You know that speed controller is the Cadillac version one as well.
