Anyone do custom paint
Anyone do custom paint
I have a body on the way for my RC10...finally.
I have no paint skills, and would like it to look nice. Does anyone do any custom paint work? I have nothing in mind for what I want done. I'm just looking to send them to someone, they do what they want, and I pay them. Everyone is happy.
Anyone?

That is Jim Myers here in Florida. He does many of the pros bodies and is very reasonable with his pricing. He also has a thread on rctech.net under the paint and graphics section where you can view his work. From mild to wild, he can do it and it will look great!

He actually has pretty reasonable prices. I think I might have to contact him. Thanks!

Re: Anyone do custom paint
Very cool, I'm going to have to look into this. I just want to replicate one of the RC10 body styles from the boxes, maybe one for my gold pan and one for the team car.
I too have no skills with painting. My attention to detail is usually such that if I'm doing it myself, I shrug and say "good enough", but if someone else is doing it, I'm great at pointing out "you missed a spot there" and pointing to some microscopic imperfection.

Update, I reached out to Jim and got a prompt reply back. Very nice fellow! I'll be pursuing some cool options from him and I'm excited for the results.JHarris wrote:http://www.wedjim.com

You won't be disappointed in Jim's work. If you haven't already done so, check out his work on his website and in his thread on rctech.net
