SteveK, yes that's how this one is. The input shaft is splined like a servos, so you put a servo horn or saver on it and then connect it to the servo. There are two 4-40 threaded holes and screws on the underside to attach it to the chassis.

Works pretty well, I never tried it, it was just in a box of stuff I had in my desk that I used to put other stuffin when I left Composite Craft for another job in the defense industry.

ya, the rack and pinion one reminded me of the one from winning edge. pro-steer i think they called it.

It should be in an article in a 1991 or 1992 issue of RCCA, I can look when I get home. They cut all the full-page ads out of the PDF copies on the website, but I know it was used in at least one project car.

I'd like to see it, because if you notice that the one I have does not have any holes for the links to go out to the steering knuckles, this one was never drilled for use. So I'd like to see what it was supposed to be drilled for. This one was most probably a prototype only.

Those trailing arms would look great on my Houge car! Speaking of Houge, you gonna put up a picture of those other parts that we have? I will be putting those "other" parts to use on the build I'm starting now. Can't wait to see them installed.

Gary Fulp runs that single steering bellcrank. I will try to remember to ask him next weekend if her remembers who produced it.

Will do. I don't think the production one had any holes drilled either. It was supposed to fit any car, but you only have so much room on it so they might as well have drilled the holes, saved the buyer that step.

I searched, it's only mentioned in 4 issues of RCCA; one Inside Scoop in 1989, that Dirt Digest column, and two different ads.

Wow I got a Pro-Race steering too, I saw it last night, let me find it and take a pic.

Ok found it. I added it along with the Andy's front bulkhead for the Pro Race Kit, and these arms will fit that bulkhead! That cover with the hole in it next to the pro-steer is a dust cover for it. It snaps right ontop of it, but below the bellcrank.
