Graphite chassis was designed for the battery to run down the center. I hope you are not chopping up decent white battery cups

right now I'm using a set that have the ends cut off-- it requires using Velcro on the bottom to keep it from sliding out of the boxes...I hope you are not chopping up decent white battery cups

I'm considering fabricating some new ends out of aluminum that will attach to the cut nylon boxes, or fabricating entirely new aluminum ones.

agreed-- why are the holes there? After all, they line up perfectly with the battery boxes. The only thing i can think of is that a 6 cell 'hump' pack might have worked...
