Finaly finished one.

Post by old_rc_lover »

Seems like most of the RC cars I start to restore are very old and hard to find parts for. This one is a lot newer than I usually do, but the Front wheel drive is way too cool to pass up. I did not do very well on the paint job, but looks good. This is a Kyosho Maxxum FF.

Looks really cool, I remember when I was a kid a friend got this for his birthday and I was mesmerize with the acceleration of this car. I took of like a rocket , so every time i had a chance to get close i would run him over with my Black Foot  .

love it.

I am not sure on the receiver. It is futaba G style. Was in car when I got it. Also had a Tekin speed control with G type connector. I have been putting the mechanical speed controls back in them. I think there cooler. Most people take them out and throw them away and put in electric.. Makes it a little harder for people like us..
