I'm not sure but I think I have an idea of where that pulley came from: Hyperdrive no tonly made pulleys for use on the 6-gear and later stealth gearboxes, but also had a conversion for the stock ultima gearbox.
Maybe the previuos owner first bught the hyperdrive and later converted it for use on the trackmaster turbo glide belt drive (Meaning he had to adjust the axle hole from metric to imperial.)

Pretty unique.
But strange it makes a lot of noise: the beltdrive should be very very silent. Maybe the diff is worn and slipping? Does it make this noise when you operate the gearbox without dogbones in the cups too?

Thanks for your input guys.
The noise from the tranny is from the flimsy G10 , that combined with a dirty/ worn bearing. The nose skid plate only has one set of holes, and doesn't resemble anything I have seen before . I thought at first it was an associated part modified ( hense the Houge steering ) but its not. I have two more weeks out of town then I can resume the rebuild . Once i am back, i will update the thread. I have had a closer look at the tecnacrafts and they should clean up just fine. Still looking for replacement machine screws , or at least the size if anyone can help. Thanks again ! :D
