Re: Make your own parts
A friend picked up a kit at the hobby store and did a mold of a JAVALIN Cage and it came out awsome. if he got the color rite you wouldn't be able to tell the difference from the kit cage. The mold kit plastic didn't hold up to racing. He is waiting to get some stronger plastic. U r supposed to be able to machine the stuff. Can even get a plastic used for gears. He tried a gear with the basic plastic and it came out great, he new it wouldn't hold up, still ran true before tore apart {i bought a kit but havnt started using yet} the detail that u can get is amazing. The kit i got cost 50 bucks and has All the stuff to get started, and a CD in it. Im glad u started this thread. i was thinking of starting similar one. this will be great to show some great new techniques.
