Houge RC10 Info
Houge RC10 Info
Hello all. I aquired a Houge RC10 chassis recently and I'm looking for any info that would help me in getting it back together. I have a chassis and arms, but nothing else. I attemped to retro fit some stuff, but I realize that I need help. If anyone has info, documentation, or a manual they can share I'd appreciate it. I'd love to get this project going. Thanks in advance.

Re: Houge RC10 Info
Quite a lot of info in the forum, just use the search . As far as other information I too would love more from others, Doug and Kieth ? ........ I always thought the idea of a Houge thread would be cool .

Re: Houge RC10 Info
sounds to me like all you need would be the houge trailing arm mounts. everything else is straight forward rc10 stuff.Grumbles wrote:Hello all. Well I'm sorry that I missed out on it, but thanks so much.tizeye wrote:I've done a deal with Paul (RC10Eh) just waiting for it to happen..
Re: Houge RC10 Info
Please clarify what you mean by trailing arm mounts. My problem is mounting the rear wheels correctly. No matter what offset rim I use they rub on the shock or arm. I've come to the conclusion that I needed an extension of some sort to move the wheel outward away from it and one of Tizeye's pic's show me some sort of extender. Any idea what I can use to do this?scr8p wrote:sounds to me like all you need would be the houge trailing arm mounts. everything else is straight forward rc10 stuff.Grumbles wrote:Hello all. Re: Houge RC10 Info
you said all you had was the chassis and arms. so, i just figured you were trying to find the mounts to be able to attach the arms to the chassis.Grumbles wrote:Please clarify what you mean by trailing arm mounts. Re: Houge RC10 Info
A bit too much to read for tonight, but a must read for tomorrow. I took a quick look through the pics and in one of the pics I'm seeing a black adapter between rear axle hub and the rim. Maybe Tizeye will be willing to snap a pic before he no longer has it. Thanksscr8p wrote:doug's build has a lot of good pics.............
