Vintage Kyosho Fantom EP-4WD
This car is on a local auction site for $160 are 4WD on road cars like this rare?

The Fantom was 1/12th scale I beleive...so yeah, I'd say it's kinda rare, being it's 1/12th and 4wd.
I always thought it was a cool car...even though I doubt it would hang with a 2wd car, unless the track was very slippery.

If this is NZ$160 with low shipping in my view that's a pretty good price as the major 4wd parts look there.
This is an earlier non-EXT version which is more rare but less desirable. The Kremer Porsche body is one of the rarer ones if it can be salvaged...very rare to find a Kremer body NIP and any Fantom body NIP will be NZ$100+.
Beyond that if you are happy and careful relinking Kyosho chain (it's thinner than Optima chain) then that looks like a good value near complete car to me.
