I thought Lowery was the only one fruity enough to anodize everything purple?scr8p wrote:that's probably who did my nip purple associated shock caps.

Re: RC10 Blue anodized chassis and nose
i ordered those shock caps from a place online. the black ones had just the 4 digit part number, the blue had the same 4 digits but with a b at the end. well, these had the 4 digits followed by a p. curiosity kicked in and i ordered some. when they showed up, sure enough, they were purple. they were in the factory packages, but they had been opened carefully, the caps were anodized purple, put back in the packages and restapled.

Re: RC10 Blue anodized chassis and nose
badd boyz in the early days did that. repackaged their stuff with the original associated header cards. later on they made their own header cards, and they came with decals.
i still have my b2 with the top plate, battery brace, and rear tranny brace.
thing sure handled much better than the carbon pieces on the clay. car felt more stable through the bumps and corners. steering was more responsive.

Re: RC10 Blue anodized chassis and nose
I have a blue anodized chassis/motor plate/nose plate set from AE. I bought off of AE's Web site a few years ago when they had a big clearance sale of RC10 chassis and 1.6" wheels and tires. Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact date.
I bought it because it was REALLY cheap (I think $20 for all 3 pieces and the wheels were stupid cheap). Also, I had never seen a blue chassis before that wasn't painted or powder coated. I always thought I would find an old RC10 somewhere (which I did) and it would need a new chassis.
