i really hated to get rid of my s-10, it was lowered 2", with a 4.3l v6, had custom flowmaster exhaust, custom k&n intake, factory raspberry metallic paint. i really had my hopes on dropping in a 350 until the kids came along then there was no time or money. i wasn't about to get an suv or a bigger truck cause the wife is really short and would bitch every time she had to climb in it. so i figured if i ever get a staion wagon get one with balls and looks mean.

I miss my show truck :( The truck in my avatar was mine, I bought it new the year I got out of high school, 97. Air suspension (layed frame!!), shaved door handles, emblems and bed, 17's (they were big wheels back then) all tweed interior done by me, fiberglass center console, Flowmaster, performance chip, two 12's in a blow through box. I almost cried when it got stolen.

At least you got a cool wagon, I got a stock 98 ranger and a stock 01 accord now. I miss the days before my kid when I had money to throw at a vehicle.
Mark

Aaaaahhhh crap! I'm about to get passed by that orange truck!

I wanted a V8 S10 too, so I bought a first gen 2dr 2wd Blazer. I am currently daily driving it until I have all of the parts for the swap. It's close. I'm a perfectionist so I'm trying to envision what a factory S10 V8 would have been built with. I have enought drag race stuff, I want somethiung to cruise in with my family.
You wagon looks tuff. WhenI was at Maple Grove for the NMCA race this year, they ran an EFI class with those cars. There was one that looked totally stock wheels and all but it went 10.30's. I know it had a D series Pro Charger on it but that was all that was visible. Sleeper city LOL.
If it isn't broke, I haven't driven it yet.

the magnums are nice cars. my parent bought a black v6 one when they first came out in '04. then traded that one in on a red r/t magnum in the beginning of '08. my sister just bought a white '04 a couple weeks ago.

Those Magnums are cool! Slam it and put some nice rims on it. There are a ton of aftermarket underhood go fast goodies that you can buy.

My best friend has one of those but his is a SRT 8 it is nasty the fastest stock car I ever rode in. it feels like someone in the back seat reaching through the seat and pulling your spine out when hes leaving the light  it has less than 30 thousand miles on it and hes been through 3 sets of Tires.

i just found out that this thing has 16 sparkplugs and no plug wires,2 for each cylinder. i guess thats a little trick they picked up from the dragracers. i saw on ebay that somebody makes a functional shaker hood scoop for it sweet. also i found a cool magnum forum that is just as knowledgable as this place. its www.custommagnums.com some awesome cars on there.

Is that what they class as a 300C Chrylser over this side of the pond I wonder?
Always fancied a black diesel one for my taxi but mega$$$$$ over here.
Look cool all the same.

the 300,charger,magnum,and even the new challenger are all based on the same chassis.

as i said above, my sister just bought one of these magnums a couple weeks back. unfortunately, she didn't take my dad or i with her to look at it. this whored up magnum is what her car looked like before it was put back to original and traded in.

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2501211

the first time i saw it, i was 10-15 ft. away and could tell it was screwed with. the only good thing is i doubt it was beat, since it was a showcar for the entire time the previous owner had it. it runs great and has low miles, and she did get it for a pretty good price. but there's just a bunch of things screwed up on it cosmetically, and the wiring under the hood is all screwed up too because of wires being spliced hear and there (etc.) because of it having a 300c front end installed on it.

i was working on the magnum today and I found some ugly, mangled animal crawling around my engine bay so I removed him, damn factory air silencers.
then i took out the lower baffle near the radiator and turned it upsidedown so it directs cool air up in to the unrestricted air box. it works pretty good for a poor mans cold air intake, until i can afford a real one.
