I’ve slowly jumped back into RC buggies and am currently putting a Kyosho Turbo Optima together.
I’d like to go brushless, but don’t want to go all out just yet. Lol, I did say “yet”, and with me that usually means I will end up spending a lot...

Boost normally means increasing timing up to full throttle, so you essentially get more and more power as you squeeze the throttle.

Turbo generally increases timing beyond full throttle, so when your flat out it continues to ramp even more timing...

what are you all running for stock class brushless. I see all kinds of Mods but for the Vonats it says 17.5 brushless, and I looked them up and their all over the place in price. what is everyone running?

I can't personally vouch for the XP stuff. If it is indeed made by LRP, I'd say it would be allright as long as the motor limits are adhered to. I have a sneaking suspicion that they are made by Thunder Tiger and not LRP, seeing as they are...

ok ive never even looked at a brushless motor in person i never needed to but it seems like i just need (want) a littlle more i want to take my gold pan and do one of these wats old is new cars ive been seeing on here they ROCK but sadly i know...

Whenever you go brushless and get motors below 10.5 turns, the best advice is to get spare parts. :lol:

I raced an LXT recently, didnt do bad at all (considering my skill level). My buddy races his 10T too, same boat, not bad at all. BUT, both of these are more modern with long suspension arms like current stadium trucks....
