Yet again something I've never seen before, what was the idea of that set up then

Hi,
The chassis shown in the picture can be used for the following Yokomo models-
1988/89 Superdogfighter (YZ10 if you purchased the car in the U.S.A.)
1991 Works 91
1992/93 Works 93
It was especially made for the Works 91 and 93 models as it has slotted motor mount holes and rear bulkhead mount holes to allow adjustment for correct belt tension (a common problem with the earlier Superdogfighter was stripped rear belts due to the belt being too slack).
Hope this helps and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
By the way, that chassis you have is a beautiful piece. I have one that looks to be the same made by ComCom/Fibrelyte.

I was at Fibre-Lytes factory last Saturday, he has found the mould for the carbon fibre RC10 tub chassis and nose plate they used to do
I tried to convince him to knock a few out, I think he will but they would be pricey

Ferretti, i do a lot of work with Stephen & Martin and have been asking them to hunt down the RC10 mould, Stephen emailed me saturday morning saying he had finally found it also the mould for the nose plate.
So i have one on order which should be ready in a few weeks, i will post details once i have it, they will be available via atomic-carbon or fibrelyte.
I have got the shock towers today

I was there getting some RC10 towers made (waiting for them in the post), I would love one of the tub chassis but the price that was suggested would be a real stretch for me especially if there is going to be a few of them around and not so rare
I think I'm going to have a nose plate for my Tekin though
.

It would be nice to add some slight differences for the re-released ones
