RCL Incident Pro

This is probably one of the most elusive cars. I got it NIB on the bay for less than USD$200 and it came with a Trinity motor NIB Interestingly, this RCL company dropped dead after may be two cars: the incident and the incident pro. They just get some universals, aluminium wheels, cast steering knuckles and sprayed the chassis in silver and sold it as an 'upgraded' car with the 'pro' stickers. Even though the car was meant for 4wds, I wonder anyone meaningfully ran this car with 4ws. Solid car otherwise.

I also managed to get another car 99% new and may only missing a few screws and a few 3mm hinge pins, also anothe NIB shell

This is it after a full hand-made carbon fiber chassis modification

I relocated the motor from the front of the mid-gearbox to the rear of the mid-gearbox. Tentatively bolted a Trinity Kinwald 13T short stack motor on, just to upset people with that awful color. HPI shocks, Ti turnbuckles from Lunsford (courtesy of brother minimini), Tamiya ball cups.

I came across some spare parts and a pair of tires 2 years ago when I had only just arrived in japan. that was the first time I heard and learnt about these cars.

Did you see the RCL incident of one of the other mambers here? It also figured a full carbon chassis and more. All option parts were developped by the australian importer.

That other RCL was way beyond me. This one, I just try to get some modification based on my limited understanding of 'contemporary' concepts.

I recently finished my Incident (only the std version) but after seeing yours I'm considering doing a carbon chassis for mine!

I did not use any software, all by old school elbow grease and cutting handpiece like a dremel

I think you may be the gentleman that has been emailing me abiout this car for some time - have you been receiving my emails in return?

Either way - I love what you have done with your car.

They are an excellent runner - and extremely fast...if you ever get the chance to run one - do it - you will not be dissapointed. I am in the process of building a runner and some new builts now.

Too bad, I only manage to see this car in boxes when I was young and saw only one on the sideline of a race back then. It was never a popular car where I was...

After seeing your and Darryn's, I think I'm going to have a go at making the carbon chassis and rails for it - I have cad software so hopefully it shouldn't be too difficult
