Re: Blue Eagle (NIB)
was there ever a Traxxas Rad2 with that chassis? Here in Germany Graupner stuck their name onto the Rad 2 and called it the Radicator with black plastic chassis and the Radicator Expert with the chassis shown here, ful bearrings, slipper and ball diff.
Oh yeah there also was an Eagle and and an Eagle Expert.
I own 2 used Radicator Experts
oh yeah beautyfull ride btw

Re: Blue Eagle (NIB)

Does that gearbox on my Hawk look the same? IF so I got a hop up bag with either a slipper or a ball diff in it Traxxas part.
Re: Blue Eagle (NIB)
I have a pair of eagles, neither has a trans like that one. I never really researched to see if there was more than one.
any pics with the top on yet? Thats one thing I am missing, no bodies.

If you have a different tranny then you more than likely have a few Blue Eagle, or Blue Eagle LS trucks. Traxxas evolved the Eagle pretty quickly when they were focused on racing about the time those trucks came out.

Re: Traxxas Eagle (NIB)
i got bored today, so i got the body trimmed and mounted (sorry if you wanted it jay). i'm not exactly sure how i want to paint it. i thought about painting it like the truck that won traxxas their first national championship. but, i only can find one pic and it's not the best.

Re: Traxxas Eagle (NIB)
i thought about that, but i know what will happen. i'll get it done and a real nice pic of the truck will surface, and it'll be nothing like the way i sprayed it.Mr. ED wrote:well, that makes it easier: gives you some room to improvise
to be honest, the body in the pic i have looks like one of those "rush jobs" where the person only had a couple of colors to choose from, a roll of cheap masking tape, no artistic ability, and sprayed it in his hotel room the night before the race. it's kinda ugly lookin'.......

Re: Traxxas Eagle (NIB)
mine came with the same ones. i guess the TRX-T Graphite decals on the boxart didn't make it into the production kit.

I was never a big TRX fan nor a truck one, but that one looks fantastic Jason, I'm anxious to see the body painted!
