You should run Firefox web browser just for pc security reasons. Another reason is stability.
Yes, its carpet on the jumps. more consistent for racers, less to maintain for track owners.

Re: == LIVE 2009 Vintage Nationals Coverage ==
Sorry for my late racing report... I was watching UFC 103...
After long long day of very good racing, 2wd has been very competitive and very close, can you believe it?? 71 entries,
awesome day. We voted on whether to run 3 quals on Saturday or 4 quals, and we got to race 4 quals on Saturday. Awesome...
I hit a bit of a snag with my Bearhawk in my first qualifier of Classics, by Tamiya axle snapped, determined to not loose $$ after only a couple of laps, I went to work on it, couple of hours later, and after locating a set of the ever elusive, hpi front wheel adapters to convert from Tamiya bearings to Associated bearings, everyone came together to chip in either with parts, or labor, and we got it going for the last qualifier of the day, and TQed in my first full run.
I uploaded some videos to youtube, at the time of this post, they're still uploading, so feel free to either search for "RCHR" or "09 VONATS" and they should be uploaded, I gotta go to sleep, I have a very early day tomorrow, we start racing at 10am, one more qualifier and the mains.
Next year, let's shoot for 90 entries, I think we can do it...

I bet they dont scrape off the tops of the jumps every time they race. I was hopeing it just wasnt for the vintage cars so they wouldnt scrape the chassis? wouldnt want anyone to look like wimpsMark Westerfield wrote:Yes, its carpet on the jumps. more consistent for racers, less to maintain for track owners.

There's nothing here either Jay...I think there's supposed to be a drum roll inserted here....
(or they've been held pending the outcome of a disputed result...) We'll need pics of the fist fight if available.

There was a dispute or error last year. Something like the lost the final times. I ended up taking a pic of the screen by chance at the end of the A main last year. I can't remember if they ever recovered the "official" results.

this is awesome, I wasn't on this site last year for this. Makes me even more jealous than I was for not being involved. Can we have the VNATS in Nova Scotia, Canada next year

I am not knocking the guys efforts this year, nor barking up my own tree, but if work wasn't such a PITA..... coverage would have been my sole purpose for going and would have been a lot more in content. You should look up last year LIVE thread. Next year, I promise..... and look forward to the On Road Nats.vintage AE wrote:this is awesome, I wasn't on this site last year for this.
