yup. 1000, 1500, 2500, 3000, then compound. it's sucks, but the end result is so worth it.

Yeah, definitely worth it. We use Trizact on the collision stuff, but always cut by hand on the resto/custom stuff. The difference is night and day. But, Trizact looks terrible, so it matches factory stuff pretty good.

i like the trizact 3000 pads....... the ones for the da. it almost polishes the paint for ya, and make the buffing go alot quicker, imo. i wanted to use it on this, but my 3/32 orbit palm da, as well as the rest of my tools are still at work. so, i just used the pads by hand.

i really need to go in a pick up my tools. i don't see me getting back there anytime soon. and no, i'm not complaining.  one of the bodymen that i work with comes up to my dad's place to make some extra money, and because he loves working on the old cars. every time he sees me i get to hear about the "new" thing that they're doing over there, and it's making it alot easier to not go back. it's getting to the point where quality doesn't matter, just the all mighty dollar. i wouldn't do BS work on my own cars, there's no way in hell i'm gonna do it on someone elses.
