Jay I couldn't be happier to have you. I will also have cars and demand that you take a break, race, and have a good time. If there's anything I can do for you I also demand that you let me. I can't thank you enough.

Glad to hear you're coming down Jay....mrlexan wrote:Well, I am committed now, I'll be there. Even though this is falling in the middle of a huge project at work that will be due on or around Oct 5th-ish and against my boss' better judgement.

Hey Guys,
The King Cab would be raced in the Heavy Metal class, correct?

Re: 2009 VINTAGE OFFROAD NATIONALS OFFICIAL THREAD• SEPT 18-20TH
Another good question. Seeing as it has independent front and rear suspension and a more traditional race type tranny, I would guess it should run with 1/10 truck. Heavy metal is more in line for the Blackfoot type trucks.CCristo wrote:Hey Guys,

Of course Erich will have final say on this issue.

Geez Jay,
Want to be technical about it...fine -- Glad you're coming NorthEast....
Chris,
I think the King Cab qualifies as "Heavy Metal", but like Brandon said, let's wait for final word from Erich....
Either way, bring it down Chris, you got enough skill to drive your RC10T and King Cab at the same time...

Great Job there, Mark/John (RCHR), the track looks bigger now, for some reason, I guess it has something to do with the elevation changes, it's very VONATs friendly....
See you guys next Saturday.

I just finished the signups online. I fudged the frequencies... I have some split crystals I like to run (not an option) and none of my buggys have rxs in them yet. I also didn't know my personal ids off the top of my head.
But my name is in there!!

The track looks really good, I'm starting to get pumped up for the race. I've been going my local track 40 miles away 2 or 3 times a week just to get my driving skills up to speed. It helps I race with some really fast guys.
I might have missed it, but will there be a warmup race on Friday night?
2 weeks from today until I'm on the plane!!! I need to figure out how to get all my stuff packed for the flight. That and I'm moving into our new house the weekend before the race. So you could say I'm just a little excited.
We should all get some "Hi My Name Is" name tags so we can start to put names to faces.
I love RC10Talk!!

Yup,
There will be open Practice on Friday, and organized practice on Saturday.
The guys that went last year, and got there on Friday would tell you, that they got plenty of practice time to get used to the track....

I looked quickly but didn't see anything.... is RCHR requiring the use of lipo sacks/pouches at this event? I'm getting my last order placed and I am going to order one. Just curious on the track's stance.
Thanks, Jeff
