MIP 4X4 kit for the RC10 - GAUGING INTEREST ONLY
Re: MIP 4X4 kit for the RC10 - GAUGING INTEREST ONLY
Talked to Eustace this afternoon. Things are still moving forward with a blog page about it to go up in the next week or so. He also said they are going to get in touch with Team Associated about some files and such for maybe making this compatible with the B2-B3 buggies as well. This is not the only thing they are thinking about re-releasing, there are some other parts for other cars they are considering making again as well. That's pretty much it for the moment and hopefully the next updates will come more frequently. That is, if I get regular breaks but business has REALLY picked up here lately

Re: MIP 4X4 kit for the RC10 - GAUGING INTEREST ONLY
Just bringing my 2 eurocents here: I really don't see the point of re-releasing a kit that is totally outdated and that actually was almost outdated the moment it was released bitd, not even mentioning they were quite pricey compared to an Optima or other more performant 4wd cars. All 4wd MIP kits were of course nice and original pieces of engineering and that is why they are still sought after nowadays. In my opinion, it would be much more interesting if MIP could develop a similar kit for the RC10, eliminate all the weak points, take advantage of modern technology and make it more efficient and durable. The idea of the kit being adaptable to the B2/B3 tranny is great IMO. Of course they would have to invest a bit more in R&D, but at least people would not be disappointed after the first pack and it would attract not only the shelf queen guys but also the vintage racers.
