Lost in translation....

Post by SmallScaleSmitty »

Ok, this is kind of R/C related, but kind of not. Noticed this on the manual to my electronic speed controller. Thought I'd share.

It makes it even worse that they can spell 'protection' correctly in the line right above and 'battery' in just a few lines below. Who reads the directions anyway.
The preceding contained opinions, beliefs and thoughts that all may not agree with. No offense was intended at any point. Carry on.

A guy goes to famed physician Doctor Ryan Woo because he just can't seem to get a date.

Guy: "Doc, what's wrong with me, I can't seem to attract girls"
Doc Woo: "Walk to door and back again."

The guy dutifully slowly walks to the door, turns around and comes back.

Doc Woo: "You have Ed Zachary disease!"
Guy: "Ed Zachary disease? What the heck is that?!?"

Doc Woo: "Yo face rook ed zachary rike yor arse."

How many jokes can we come up with for "buttery reverse plotection"? Sounds like a surgical bakery procedure.

“After reading this manual, store it in a safe place.”

Why, is there a risk of spontaneous combustion or something? Maybe keep it in a lipo sack?

Brings back memories, I grew up with Japanese motorcycles at a time when their manuals were quite difficult to comprehend, let alone easy to make fun of.

Not that I actually read manuals of course….
