Re: Reccomendations for RC10B5M Factory Team Kit Shocks?

I just went through a similar thing, the new shocks are 13mm.... I originally wanted 12x23 but had to get the 13x23.

Re: RC10L T-Plate options help me understand

I think you should run the softest t-bar on the street that you can find as traction on the street is generally always lacking. If you start picking up the inside front wheel or have too much rear traction then start to look at going to a stiffer t-bar

Re: Resurrect NiCd pack

NiCd's generally aren't affected by being stored for long periods in a discharged state. Old race packs used to be stored with battery bugs attached to keep them fully discharged. Re: Resurrect NiCd pack

Zap each individual cell but be careful, just quick touches are all you need. I've never had a cell explode personally but beware that they can, I think an old weak cell would take a lot of abuse.

Re: The Lives and Deaths of RC Companies

The hobby isn't the same as it was in the late 80's and 90's. It has become way more corporate and lost the magic that it once had. I'm just glad I grew up in the hobby when I did.

Re: My RC10T2 - I still have it after all these years.

My wife found some old photos from 1999... most are crap as the old Kodak disposable camera wasn't very good at action shots or photos taken in the shade.

Re: Amusing Engrish typos on Asian R/C parts

Sort of related but sort of not..... I found it funny anyways, and the people were probably wondering why I was taking a photo of their sign.
