Re: Associated Foam Donuts - Standard size
The problem with foams is that if you try to push the rim in the foam with wet glue it just pushes the glue out. Use contact adhesive and coat the inner surface of the foam and the outer surface of the rim. Let it dry until it it is just slightly tacky to the touch. Use your finger or a brush to the...

Re: 40th Undertray
You should consider a chassis protector with your undertray depending on where you run, from my experience the underdray traps dirt in and under it and basically sands your chassis.

Re: The OS CZZ is back together, but will it run?
There are also a few tricks to judge where you are on the low end needle. Once the high speed is set you can work on the low speed. Note, the high speed MUST be set before you attempt to set the low speed. As guggles said the engine must be hot and keep in mind you can't properly tune on the bench, ...

Re: looks like we need a rere associated on road section next!
The main thing against the DS is that it's not a standard size, and until the wide proline VTA bodies came out not much fit when Bolink disappeared. It is a cool car and running options are far better than a pan car, so I can see it being popular enough, just not 10/10T popular.

Re: RC10L Wheels, Tires & Donuts - Details & Deep Dive (help needed)
I would fill the void with something, whether it be an old foam tire or something else there isn't much meat to cut off those foams.

Re: Kyosho SRT, or is it SRT Outrage?
Traxosho is nearly done...... I spent WAY too much on shocks for this thing!! I knew they were the right lengths, and even though I wanted the Yokomo YZ-2 shocks which were a little cheaper I didn't know if they were exactly the same. They are huge, way too big.... although.... they work well and fi...

Re: Kyosho SRT, or is it SRT Outrage?
Electronics wired up and tested. Speed control is a Hobbywing V3.1. When I originally bought it long ago it was listed as a standard V3.1 but when it came it was the waterproof version  The waterproof version has a super short sensor cable epoxied in, external switch and a pigtail fan lead. I ...

Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!
Originally a 351 Cleveland 2v barrel car (H code), 302 wasn't an option in '69 and '70 for the Mach 1. But it does have a 302 with small(ish) cam, long tubes, Holley 4v, Edelbrock Performer. Supposedly has forged pistons, but the motor runs so darn good it doesn't matter to me. Story is the Clevela...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Interesting you mention this, as one of these popped up locally for not many $$$ the other day, and I had to work hard to stop myself from throwing a bid on it... T35.jpg They look cool and vintage perfect, and can be upgraded for LiPo charging, but I don't *really* need another charger..... It's m...
