Re: RC10T3 Front Weight Question/Alternative

More toe gives more drive and tightens up the car, it tends to drive straight. Less toe frees up the back of the car. More rear antisquat doesn’t let the car transfer as much weight over the rear tires and helps the car turn "rotate" better. Less antisquat lets the car transfer more weight...

Clodbuster Soap Opera

I finally bought a Clodbuster and this will be the soap opera of a rebuild of said Clodbuster. Once you've seen a stock Clodbuster you've seen them all so this will probably be about as exciting as a soap opera to many. I know nothing of Clods per se but this will be my attempt at making a nice orig...

Re: Clodbuster Soap Opera

I could have bought a bowtie clod instead but as this was going to be a runner I wasn't too fussed at the time....... however..... with the amount of effort, time and money gone into this I'm not so sure I want to run it anymore :?

Re: New from UK, Nitro 10 Mk3 engine help

One of the most common problems I've seen with nitro cars that have been sitting for a while is the fuel coagulating in the carb. Pull the line off the exhaust, manually open the carb to full throttle a...

Re: Carb problems? (Nitro 10)

Good job on getting it running. Yes the tuning sequence is 1. High speed needle 2. Low speed needle 3. Idle speed screw Just be careful with free revving the engine with no load, it's not good for them. You could find that it runs great with no load but as soon as you put it in the car its a bit slu...

Re: RC10 WC Stealth diff got loose

My guess is with all new parts the diff wasn't broken in, so as the parts bedded in it loosened up. Also if you didn't pre compress the thrust spring a few times it could have lost some of its tension and loosened up as well.

Re: calculate shaft distance for given 48dp ratio

I'll leave it to those much smarter than myself but you'll need to know the "pitch circle"

Re: NEW TO RC10's BUT NOT TO RC'ING

That bumper/nose plate set up is a first that I've seen, interesting.

Those both look like a good base to build some fun cars.

Re: Our boys down under.....

All safe here for the moment, but things can change in an instant. Australia is far from over with the "peak" of the fire season still ahead of us. Another firefighter was killed just yesterday :( fingers crossed they get on top of the fires in these milder conditions before it heats up ag...
