Phew, painting is done !! Is it as nice as I had hoped? Not really.....but it still came out pretty good considering all the issues and set backs I had with it. I got a fair bit done tonight, once I got started I couldn't stop. You know the I'll stop after one more step, ok, maybe the next one, and before you know it you've done 20 steps :lol: Been fun so far. I decided to put this awesome servo in it..... as it's just for display I'm not too worried about ...

The RC10 says 8.68:1with 10.5

So.....

If that's the case I would start with a 28 or 29 tooth pinion

76 ÷ 28 × 3.3 = 8.96 FDR
76 ÷ 29 × 3.3 = 8.65 FDR

I must say the MSC turned out fantastic, I had to solder some new power leads onto the board and replace the Tamiya plug as the previous owner cut them and spliced in a deans plug. Pretty simple stuff really but makes a big difference. I even managed to remove and reuse the original zip tie..... 202...
