Tbh I have never done a side by side comparison with and without the stiffeners, but they are made from .030 thick (~0.75mm) g10 (which is what Hot Trick used, and limited by the arm mounts) and I just don't know they they do a whole lot other than add the classic appearance. A 1/4" axle wont fit a crush sleeve, it would have to be paper thin. In the past all crush sleeves were for 3/16 axles, and MIP didnt include them.

Hmmmmmmm odd. Things like this are a tough one since it randomly started happening, and nothing changed that would cause it. In these cases the only thing I can do is ask the person who developed it for some support. I Googled it and got nowhere.

If we changed No. 4 to a silhouette of a middle-aged dude holding a transmitter sandwiched between the blue and red, I'd be for that.
