Re: 2025 21.5 Pre-Pro SE buggy

New XR10 G2 100A HW speedo, ROAR 21.5 HW G4r (until I hear we can run the Outlaw stuff anyway). Buggy feels super solid, should have a track report in a few weeks, but my bench setups are usually very close to ready to race so we'll see. I am going to share transponder between my 17.5 and 21.5 buggi...

Re: best way to remove solder from motor cans?

I cut off what I can with mini cutters, then use a flapper wheel on a Dremel. On silver canned motors, I'll polish it a little with a Dremel.

Re: Currently Playing

This song probably deserves a little more credit than it gets. The movie probably doesn't... Both parties were nearing the end of their popularity. It's still a good tune. A bigger speaker system than a computer or phone recommended. :P nLsXJitaiVo imho, last action hero doesnt get near as much lov...

Factory Works SRB X2 project

Machined delrin cases for SRB are finally here, and I had some bearing holders machined as well so I can offer the Tamiya version of the trailing arm kits. I'll have both on the website in a few days. To test the gearbox I made up some trailing arms for lay down shocks (as I lack any vintage roll ba...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

Stopped by to say hi to my dad this morning. The bone yard was looking very Scooby Doo-ish.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

I was the only one there so I said out loud, "Dad, your ol' bone yard is givin' me the creeps." He would have liked that. 8)

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

Yesterday technically. I was staring at the Avante while we were watching Part IV in the bar. Thought the lighting was good for the paint job. Not my car. Back shocks could use some thicker oil.

Re: AI and the RC10Talk forum

AI is a pretty generic term and I think it is perceived or interpreted broadly. And often associated with use cases, despite it being more like a science or a discipline. The public understands AI from tools like ChatGPT and news articles, which as we know tend to sensationalize for the monies. But ...

Re: AI and the RC10Talk forum

This whole forum would never have existed if it were not for "cultural lag"- it is a vintage RC car forum in modern day after all. I have no interest in anything related to AI, I understand that it's part of my everyday life to some extent, although way less that most. The joke about AI to...

my final Ten4.1, a CC build

For the last Ten4.1 I decided to go a little different route by adding CC to the end of it 😉. The clear parts are just my regular ten4.1 parts but printed with a clear resin. The clear parts are not strong, but they will look great on the shelf. I may offer very limited numbers of the clear parts bu...

Re: An unending series of correlated pictures

Moral standards aside, this movie definitely defines the 80's. I prefer the lower graphic by Mr. Hand's ear but the top version is what people first saw in theaters in August of 1982.
